Killzone 3 – James Cameron inspired

UPDATE:

The inspiration taken from Guerrila Games ‘taken’ by James Cameron as well as 3D, concerns the “jungle” that will be present (according the official statement) in Killzone 3.
That could take inspiration from the planet Pandora’s Avatar

GamePro has revealed the cover of next issue, with nice presence in Killzone 3, nothing already knew, but one thing grab the attention, a name, the name of James Cameron.

Quote from GamePro Cover:

How Nazi Germany, Mother Nature and James Cameron helped shape the creative direction of Killzone 3

This is a good thing, given the indisputable talent of Cameron, especially in the creation of environments of the game.
Killzone 3, which was revealed by the leaked scans of GamePro, will have the first trailer at E3, and should be out in early 2011.

I’m guessing he hasn’t collaborated, they were just influenced by Avatar to make it 3d. If you’re right then did nazi germany and mother nature also collaborate?

They just mean James Cameron’s movies were an inspiration to the developers somehow.

Like for instance, it’s obvious Nazi Germany has nothing to do with the actual development of the game. At least I hope it doesn’t.

Development is being funded by Nazi gold, didn’t you hear?😛

    • collaborated?

It dosn’t say anything about collaboration , it was probably just inspired by James Cameron(3D). By your logic Nazi Germany and mother nature collaborated too, highly doubtful!

I’m pretty sure it just means that they were inspired by the scale and the worlds of Avatar when shaping the creative vision of Helghan this time round. I really don’t think James Cameron would ever collaborate with a franchise as small as Killzone.
